Tom Ford's Racy Neroli Portofino Ad Ends Up As Window Display (VIDEO, POLL)

Well, color us confused!

We may have, uh, neglected to show you Tom Ford's new advertisements for his Neroli Portofino-scented bath products featuring two models in the shower (see them here, but be warned they're NSFW), however British department store Selfridges has gone ahead and made an elaborate window display using one of the photographs.

BoyMeetsFashion.com filmed Ford's installation -- and seems pretty fascinated by the aquarium aspect of it all. We'll be pretty fascinated to see what happens when the UK's Advertising Standards Authority finds out about this one.

What do you think?

Quick Poll

Tom Ford's window display:

TOO RACY!

TAME and kinda cool!

Unsure.

What would really get me inside the store was if this was a 360-degree vision!

If I were the male model I would think I would be a bit more "excited". But I guess thats what airbrushing is for.

It certainly seems to be in good taste...There really aren't any real ( NO NO PARTS) showing, People really need to see the ART of things instead of the NAKED thing!! There are far worse things being shoved in our faces than this AD!!

If you follow the link, there most certainly "are parts" showing... lol.

I'm just mad that these people have to always show off the fact that they are more beautiful than the rest of us!

The first picture is OK for places like New York but the town I live in, oh'boy! The second picture, I would say is going to turn heads. Especially considering the location of the female models breast in relation to the position of the male model standing behind her, it appears like her breasts are his testicles. I like it for it's creativity, I suppose, but I am not a fan of the old adage "sex sells." Yes it does. But, having the ability to sell your products without resorting to the easy tactics isn't very skilled and a bit hackie. Really those tactics are left to the low level advertisers and business people that are desperate to make money and tale the edge from the more finically advantaged.

Just out of curiousity, how much would they pay me NOT to appear nude in public?

Cute. I think it's playful. I don't mind seeing nudity in advertising and I'm often more attracted to advertisements that make me laugh or smile. Nice to see something that doesn't scream either 'be afraid' or 'you must have this now or you will be shunned'.

Racy, but not offensive… now if it was two guys, that would get the window broken by rocks. Two women and you wouldn't be able to see the window for the crowd of guys looking at it.
