Olbermann's Current TV Show Called 'Countdown,' Launches June 20 (VIDEO)

Keith Olbermann finally announced what his new Current TV show will be called, and when it will air.

The new name? "Countdown With Keith Olbermann."

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it," Olbermann joked in a video announcement posted to his "Fok News Channel" site on Tuesday morning.

Previously, Olbermann would only say that the show would air in "late spring." In the video, he at last gave a specific date: Monday, June 20, at 8 PM Eastern.

Olbermann's show has been in the works since he abruptly left MSNBC in January.

I always knew Keith Olbermann would find his way back to a media outlet. He is a smartass that is very entertaining. I hope he does "THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD"!!!!!! I have a list handy.

Apologies if this question was covered earlier, but ...

Does anyone know whether Keith's show will be available online in its entirety? I have basic cable because I rarely ever watch television. However, I would gladly pay to see Keith skewer the right-wing again.

I love Keith but I am really concerned about Current TV - does anyone know what has happened to Current? It seems the entire network, website ect totally changed overnight - even the logo has changed. Honestly it totally sucks now - Podcasts are gone, super news is gone and some of the best talent they had, also gone. I hate to see Keith launch his new career on a dead channel and no one is talking about it....at all. I can't find any information about the dramatic changes in programming, lineup and talent. It used to be one of my favorite channels, now it just shows the same things over and over - I love "The Big Labowski" but not all day everyday.

I am a true fan of Keith Olbermann. He has more class and education, along with facts, than, all the so-called people speaking at foxnews. I truly miss Keith. Wish I could pick up his new show here. MSNBC has not been the same, since his departure. Keep the truth going Keith.

What is he talking about--If it ain't broke....! No one watched him at his old show because he was a pig and a joke! His "rants" on everyone should have gotten him thrown off the air long before January! I only watched him a few times, for short periods, and probably won't at the new show either! he's simply a PIG!

Ummm He was the most popular show on MSNBC so there were lots of people that watched him, I for one enjoyed his railings...I like Ed Schultz his replacement better as a newscaster, but Keith is pretty damn in your face...and he brought us Rachel Maddow for which I certainly am grateful for.

The interesting fact here is that yet another prime time anchor has abandoned a liberal media outlet. CNN has lost several of their political contributors to FOX (both liberal and conservative)..many make no-bones about the fact that they left because of biased media practices.

If you say it a million times, but it still is not true. The fact is that the most biased news program ever is Faux News. I'm sick of hearing right wing radicals cry about the liberal media, when the conservative fruit cakes get twice the attention on all supposed news networks.
