Wow. No comments. That's a first for me...
As a long time practitioner it does a whole lot more than make heart patients happier.
Better muscle tone, balance, strength, breath control and awareness, awareness of chi movement, sense of empowerment, grounding, and it often leads to a more in-depth study of the different styles and purposes--Don't forget; it's also a martial art (defensive, not offensive) that can kill. We just don't see it used that way,
Just saying--it's a very powerful form of movement.
