If you don't want to be seen as a suspicious person at the airport, what do these specialists look for?

Isn't this one of the techniques that they use quite successfully in Israel?
The last I read about it, they seemed to feel that the TSA didn't know how to implement this kind of security model...

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Don't have much of a problem with it. If it eventually helps narrow the list of who is gropped and searched, it might be a good thing.

While profiling is not allowed, it should be - it is a valid tool with proven success

when they start the camps for all those people with brains like me - you will probably be eating a copy of the constitution, commenting on how you like the new smell in the air

Official America manages to get more stupid on a daily basis - and we the people pay for this lunacy.

Janet's Napolitano's brown shirts are watching you. Next she'll have thought police listening to your ideas. Meanwhile, two would-be bombers made it right past these minimum wage TSA EEOC hires and nearly brought down two airplanes. Luckily, the passengers were able to avert disaster by fending for themselves -- because that inept woman thinks her system works. Fire her NOW.

Wearing too much hair gel is definitely a sign that something is not right. I mean, one could scrap it off construct a bomb and take down a plane................TSA spokesperson...........not intended to be factual, but I bet you're scared. Move along now.

I was delayed by these Nazis last time I flew. They are Useless. They are Anti-American. They need to GO, they serve NO Purpose except to warm you up to the incoming Police State.

The stated goal of paternalistic govs is to have a system where your fellow citizens control and inspect you. This way,the new elite (those who work for the philosopher king-see Plato),can enjoy their new found position.

If it works, do it. If it doesn't really work, spend the money elsewhere.

Anyone think that potential terrorists are going to stand in the TSA's line and gripe about it? Anyone think the TSA's employees are qualified for this sort of work anyway?

I always get the TSA staff mixed up with the cleaning crews walking around the airports. I believe the cleaning crews are more efficient.

The cleaning crews are actually able to find a mess. Janet's TSA EEOC goons let two would-be bombers board planes and left the passengers to save their own lives.

Yeah but the cleaning crews don't get to wear nifty badges and pretend that they are cops.

That's the issue - lot more ways to get access to aircraft than in the passenger aisle
