Mother's Day Brunch 2011 In Denver: Where To Go

All moms are not created equal -- and neither are Mother's Day brunches. Whether mom's style is upscale, island-esque or a little bit rock and roll, we have you covered. Here are our favorite picks for this weekend.

Dress up in your Sunday best for this upscale outing to the Warwick Hotel. Presented by Randolph's, this brunch will be held in the Millennium Ballroom on the 15th floor. With near-floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoy this buffet brunch before a spectacular downtown cityscape view.
10:30am - 3:30pm; $42/adult, $36/seniors, $19/ages 12 - 17, $15/ages 6 - 11
1776 Grant St.; 303-318-7272

Max Gill and Grill:
Take mom away to the islands with this breezy brunch in Wash Park. Their seafood buffet will include snow crab legs, shrimp cocktail and oysters in addition to prime rib and traditional brunch items. Oh, and we're a big fan of the tiki bar in the back room.
10am - 2pm; $29.95/adults, $15.95/child
1052 S. Gaylord St., Denver; 303-722-7456

Second Home Kitchen & Bar:
Make it a pajama morning at Second Home's PJ Brunch. The servers will be in their favorite sleepwear and all kids 8 and under eat free if dressed accordingly. Bonus: Kids can head to the back room, where sleeping bags and pancake toppings -- yes, M&M's are considered pancake toppings -- add to the fun. A more traditional Mother's Day brunch is held in the outdoor dining area in the afternoon.
PJ Brunch, 6am - 2pm; a la carte
Mother's Day Brunch, 1pm - 4pm; a la carte
150 Clayton Lane; 303-253-3000

Citron Bistro:
You'll find a classic Mother's Day buffet here with the usual breakfast brunch suspects in addition to baked chicken, a carving station (prime rib, leg of lamb, ham), five salads, a seafood station (Cold Creek salmon, crab legs and claws, black mussels, and peel and eat shrimp) and the single most decadent dessert station you will ever come across.
9:30am - 4pm; $28.95 per person
3535 S. Yosemite; 303-771-5800

Lannie's Caberet:
You know Mom will absolutely swoon when she gets seated in Lannie's Caberet for their Velvet Elvis brunch. In addition to traditional brunch items prepared by Lifestyles Catering, hip swiveling Elvis impersonator Jonny Barber will rock the house.
11am & 2pm; $40
