How do you make it?
1 1/2 ounces Grey Goose La Poire
1/2 ounce St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
La Marca Prosecco
Instructions:
Shake all ingredients well and strain into a wine glass. Top it off with prosecco.
How would you describe its taste?
It's a bit spritzy with hints of fruit, vanilla and licorice.
When is it best to drink?
It's a great drink for brunch, but you can enjoy it anytime in the afternoon.
Who drinks it?
Generally ladies like it, or a more senior crowd, but it’s good for anyone who appreciates a light, airy touch to their cocktails.
Tropical Peartini
How do you make it?
1/2 ounce DeKuyper Peachtree schnapps
1/2 ounce pineapple juice
1/2 ounce lime juice
Instructions:
Put ingredients into a shaker. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish it with an orange slice.
How would you describe its taste?
It's light and fruity, without being too sweet.
When is it best to drink?
It’s an anytime beverage, but I think it’s best before meals.
Who drinks it?
This is a drink for flavored martini fans who enjoy a mix that is juicy and potent, but without the strong alcohol taste.
Pear Melon
How do you make it?
1/2 ounce Midori Melon Liqueur
1/2 ounce sour mix
Sprite
Instructions:
Put ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice. Top it off with Sprite and garnish with a lime wedge.
How would you describe its taste?
This is a well-balanced drink, yet light and on the fruity side.
When is it best to drink?
This is a drink to order during cocktail hour.
Who drinks it?
It’s a versatile cocktail that can appeal to a wide variety of tastes.
Asian Pear
How do you make it?
1/2 ounce Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce sour mix
Instructions:
Put ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Strain into martini glass and garnish with a lemon rind twist.
How would you describe its taste?
It's herbal, with a ginger taste. The Asian Pear is very refreshing.
When is it best to drink?
This is good in the evenings, like during a cocktail hour.
Who drinks it?
Martini adventurers and fans of Asian cuisine in particular appreciate the ginger traces.
