Priest Does Cartwheels After Royal Wedding (VIDEO)

Some people were super excited about the royal wedding. And then there was this guy.

A priest was apparently caught on camera doing cartwheels through Westminster Abbey after Prince William & Kate Middleton's ceremony ended on Friday.

A spokesperson explained to The Hollywood Reporter, "Our view is that the verger was simply reflecting what we all feel about a very successful service. It is a general reflection of the mood of the Abbey and a job well done."

Um, yeah. We're pretty glad it's over, too.

A Verger is NOT a Priest. Vergers, like Sextons are lay persons carrying out administrative duties. They are not common any longer outside of Cathedrals, Churches with many tourist stops and/or large congregations. Not every man in a dress is a Priest.

I love seeing people just let their happiness and excitement out. Human joy is such a beautiful thing.

More people need to spring into action and spread it. :)

LOL! That is wonderful! It just really reflects the joy people were feeling. I have actually been to church services there and the place is HUGE- seriously, the television does not do it justice. It would be a fabulous place to turn cartwheels down! :) Go COE!

Surely you don't think ONLY Catholics fiddle around? If you added the abuse from Prostestant churches in the US, you would have a lot of kids affected. With them the churches are more individualized and they haunt both boys and girls.

He's a verger, not a priest.

that's what I thought . . . . he's a verger at the Abbey and he did two cartwheels . . fantastic!

And, what a place. If I ever go to London, Westminster Abbey would be a must-see. Amazing!
