Queen Elizabeth II appeared at the royal wedding to the flash of cameras and much of her own attention.

Attending the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the 85-year-old queen gracefully walked the red carpet wearing a unique yellow dress and hat. The dress and accompanying overcoat were designed by Angela Kelly, according to the Washington Post.

The queen herself was married at Westminster Abbey on November 20, 1947.

Prince Charles and Camilla, as well as Prince Harry, were of course among the royals in attendance, but foreign royalty was also invited. The Prince and Princess of the Asturias, Felipe and Letizia, Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium, King Simeon II and Queen Margarita of the Bulgarians, The Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II, and King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie of the Hellenes were all also at the ceremony. You can see a full list of those invited, here.

Queen Elizabeth II bestowed the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge following the ceremonies.
