The Huffington Post     First Posted: 04/29/11 05:37 AM ET   Updated: 06/28/11 06:12 AM ET

Guests smiled for the cameras as they arrived at Westminster Abbey for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on Friday morning.

Of note -- Victoria Beckham in her own design, Mother of the Bride Carole Middleton in Princess Diana favorite Catherine Walker and Princess Letizia in pale pink paired with a cloche (kind of).

Take a look at who wore what.

I love the fact that Victoria Beckham is like 4-5 months pregnant, and not only looks amazing but is kicking around in 8" platforms. She's a real character.

Maybe she can also explain, WHY she never smiles!

David Beckham has a "lazy" hairstyle in this photo, like DiCaprio and Gervais. Too lazy to fix it properly. Nothing attractive about it. Ick.

The Deputy Prime Minister's wife looked gorgeous.

And I ADORED the hats!

Is it just me, or is Prince Albert starting to resemble George Costanza?

What is it with the British and hats, OMG they are hideous.

Please stop using these big shot slide shows. Now that they have those ads on them, the slides are small and everything is slower to load.

I loved that the Queen chose Daffodil as her color and she looked absolutely lovely. The bride's mother and father and family (much as we saw) were all flawlessly attired. Now we get to the guests, most of the time time my thought was "What was thinking?" Most of the hats I saw, presumably done by the Treacey, were beyond horrible. It was as though I was watching a sci-fi film, rather than a modern day royal wedding. It's as though hats have gone all Marie Antoinette on us (or at least they are moving in that direction). I like fascinators and I like couture hats, I just prefer them to make some sense to the outfit and to the occasion, very few that I saw, hit that mark (including the universally ooohed over Tara with the electric blue folded boat on her forehead.

Princess Victoria is one of my favorites. Her smile is radiant and her body is bangin'. And she looked perfectly fine in what she wore so stop hating.

Watched the event on the BBC hookup online; loved it because they didn't have any commentators blabbering away. The downside is that I'm not sure who several of the guests shown are, so I can't recite names.

But, I noticed a few women of middle eastern descent attending in head coverings. They looked amazing! The gowns, the scarves, the trims, everything was just beautiful. I'm guessing the fabrics were silk; the colors and watercolor patterns over the shimmering fabrics were quite the sight. I love the way the gowns flowed along at the hem, skimming the floor as the women walked. They looked like butterflies floating thru the Abbey.

So, these ladies get my vote for best dressed guests. :D

My thoughts:
Princess Victoria looked amazing
The Deputy Prime Minister's Wife, Miriam Gonzalez, was also stunning, but this pic doesn't do her justice
Chelsy Davy-not really a fan of the outfit or her
Tara Palmer Tomkinson-First I thought over the top, but the color is amazing, and this whole outfit worked for her.
Zara Phillips-I loved her hat, but this pic also doesn't do it justice.

Does Victoria Beckham ever put a smile on her face? Is she that insecure?

It's the oddest thing--whenever she's being interviewed, she seems genuinely sincere and down to earth; but otherwise her public affect is (unintentionally?) smug.

I thought she looked harsh.

She must be totally insecure.
