Strange Brew Tasting Room Opens

Colorado's newest and smallest craft brewery, Strange Brewing Company has recently opened up their Tasting Room. Drop by because they frequently tap new, experimental brews for Tasting Room guests only.

The Strange brewery may be small, but it's already winning plenty of awards. In 2010, Strange won a Silver medal at the Colorado State Fair for their Le Bruit de Diable Farmhouse Ale in the Belgian and French Ale Category, then that same weekend took home the Bronze for their Cherry Kriek in the Fruit Beer Category.

The Le Bruit de Diable is an innovative Belgian that's rooted in tradition. Strange uses Belgian Pilsner malt and mixes it with some Belgian Caramel Vienne and Munich malts for a surprising color and complexity -- this is no ordinary Belgian. The Cherry Kriek is one of the fruitiest beers ever made -- chock so full of cherries that even the foamy head is red. All that cherry makes for one decadent beer that goes great with dark chocolate.

Strange has been brewing for only a couple of years, but already has nine signature beers in house with plenty of new ones on the way. Their signature Strange Pale Ale and Honey Coffee Stout are a must try when in the Tasting Room.
