White House Correspondents' Dinner 2011: What Michelle Obama Wore (PHOTOS, POLL)

Michelle Obama attended the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner in D.C. on Saturday night. You can read all about it here.

For the occasion, the first lady picked a mauve-y, chocolatey brownish dress with an empire waist by Halston. She piled on the bracelets and necklaces and switched things up with a curly 'do.

She is beautiful...has beautiful shoulders and arms...her hips and legs(not being negative) are a little bigger...so she needs to not wear tight, short tops/sweaters...there is too much of a difference between her top and her bottom...she is still gorgeous

Not my very favorite, but as this is not a State occasion and is supposed to be less formal and more fun, I like that she went for a sort of retro 1960s look with the makeup and hair and glam dress. She looks like she is having fun!

Love the bracelets! The new look suits her well. I felt her hairstyle was a little too severe and schoolmarm-ish. Her style in these pictures is elegant and her hair frames her face to give her a less severe look. She looks good.
