Ray Kappe's Brentwood architectural has been listed and re-listed since late 2008, and it's on the market again with a price tag of $14 million. With just under 90,000 square feet of land and 11,000 square feet of living space, the home boasts sun-filled rooms, tall ceilings, and steel and glass frame work across three floors. Other features include a pool with spa, sauna, game room, media room, gym, maid's quarters, hardwood and stone floors, recessed lighting, pre-wired surround sound systems, and parking for five cars.

Ray Kappe's son, Ron, has said, "Ray is an architect’s architect." Kappe and his designs were entered into the FAIA Hall of Fame, and he received the AIA Lifetime Achievement award in 2006. In 1972, Kappe co-founded what later became known as Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). He developed this Brentwood home in the 1990s.
