I have two cherished canvas totes from Daedalus books in Columbia, MD, which they don't make anymore. One of them has Orpheus on it, reading a book, and the other has the Minotaur, also reading.

Yeesh, how frothy can you get? Books are in bags or on machines (in great quantities) but whose reading what they're carrying around? Go here for one major part of this problem: salon.com "Death to high school English" by Kim Brooks.

Mine has a bug, holding a book, floating on an innertube, and says, "Catch the Reading Bug!" Underlying message: I work at the library.

How about one of my Fred Meyer or Safeway bags? I also use them as book totes.
