Princess Beatrice's Hat To Be Auctioned On eBay For UNICEF & Children In Crisis

Ah, Princess Beatrice's hat. It's been, like, five minutes since we last mentioned it, so we thought we'd catch you up to speed.

Basically, she stepped out in the ribbon-meets-reindeer headpiece to the royal wedding and the accessory became an instant internet sensation with its own Facebook page (136,493 "Likes" as of this posting) and Tumblr (which has been updated to include a very amusing situation room Photoshop-situation).

Then, the man behind the monstrous meme, milliner Philip Treacy, told HollywoodLife.com that he doesn't care what you or anybody else thinks of Beatrice's style statement, remarking, "Gorgeous and beautiful can be open to interpretation...I thought they looked gorgeous and beautiful. But no one is crying if anyone didn't."

Now, it turns out Bea will be putting her much-talked-about headpiece on the block. According to People.com, Sarah Ferguson told Oprah, "She's putting it up on eBay to auction it for UNICEF and for Children in Crisis."

Way to take some horrendous creative fashion and turn it into a good cause!
