San Francisco Giants’ ace Tim Lincecum is used to staring down batters from the mound at AT&T Park, but the world champion pitcher got a different view of his town when he took to the skies in a Red Bull stunt plane.
Lincecum hooked up with aerobatics pilot Kirby Chambliss to take a scenic tour of San Francisco from the Red Bull Edge 540, a plane that can hit 10 Gs and do stunts that would likely make most passengers a little queasy.
Luckily for “The Freak,” Chambliss kept it to a casual joyride and made true on Lincecum’s hope “not to upchuck anything.”
