Tara Lynn Poses For H&M's Big Is Beautiful Swimwear (PHOTOS)

Plus-size beauty Tara Lynn has continued her run as the face of H&M's "BiB" (Big is Beautiful) offerings, striking a pose in swimwear for the chain's website, Vogue Italia reports.

As you may know, H&M won't have an online store for us Americans until 2012 or so, but here's Tara Italian-style and à la française. She shows off a tankini, a leopard-print bathing suit, summer frocks, a caftan and more.

Tara has also modeled for Bloomingdale's, Nordstom and Forever21's Faith21 line, and previously stripped down for French Elle.

Take a look at our screenshots of Tara in H&M BiB.

I'm 60 yrs. old and have been anywhere from 20-30 lbs overweight all my life. I've always been clean, well groomed and dressed for my size. I've always been active; not a couch potato nor a binge or junk food eater. In high school and college I was always considered pretty and my husband of 34 yrs. tells me how beautiful I am every day. Not to brag, but people always think I'm younger (sometimes by 10 yrs.) than I am. The only problem I see with people of "plus size" is that as one gets older, as I am, it's harder to stay active, harder to keep off the creeping lbs. and there is stress on joints like knees and back which makes it even harder to stay active.
The only way I can keep my weight stable is to eat very little during the week and have 4-5 small meals per day on weekends. It works, but it's hard after a lifetime of eating as much as I wanted. So while we want to show that plus size woman can be beautiful and if you're one of them, be careful when you start getting into your 40s.

do NOT say that a "real woman has curves". that is insulting to women who take care of their bodies by saying that to be a "real woman" you must overindulge in food.

She looks physically fit. She's probably considered a "plus" sized model because the fashion industry has label sizes greater than 12 as "plus" sized.

I think she beautiful.
12:45 PM on 06/03/2011
Oh come on. She's gorgeous, but she is plus-sized. The average woman is slimmer, and I don't mean that as an insult or compliment.

There are lot more women her size than there are "0-2 size" women. I welcome the shift...

I guess I don't understand were the outcry is? It seems like there is a double standard and I think i might know why. If this was a picture of a thin girl (not anorexic) she would be acused of displaying unrealistic ideals and how dangerous this is . However, these photos are of (lets be honest) a morbidly obese woman and I hear crickets. The double standard that I think exists is because we're a lazy nation that finds it easy to side with laziness than to eat properly and exercise regularly. The biggest excuse I hear is 'I don't have time", but you have time for 'Idol'. This woman is not to be admired for being overweight. Obesity is 100% more dangerous than being thin.

You hear crickets? Time to get your ears checked, dude.

Seriously, how can you say there is no criticism of this? There are hundreds of comments on here, and they are not all admiring this woman's size. You may have a valid point about relative dangers, etc., but you discredit yourself with that kind of hyperbole.

So I reread this first page and I stand alone. Everyone one else is fawning over her. I don't care if they find her attractive, good for them. What I do find funny is you come after me for 'hyperbole' and bascially ignor the fact she is morbidly obese and sets a dangerous precedent (not, 'may have a point'). Being fat is deadly. Number two only to smoking and the gap is almost closed. People ridicule smokers in public, well don't think fat isn't next.

And she certainly is not morbidly obese, either.

Chris: you have no clue what "morbidly obese" is if you think this young lady fits that description. She's far, far more representative of the average woman than you obviously encounter in your world...wherever that is...

Gorgeous girl! She'd be a bombshell at a more healthy weight! Don't be afraid to shed 20 pounds or so girl! Some plus sized models don't lose the weight for fear of hurting their careers. But she should go for it. Either way, she's cute - the swimsuits are all right too.

I think she's a bombshell now. Everybody's different--if that's her weight, that's her weight.

She's beautiful, but their swim suits are ugly...try Miracle Suits instead
