'30 Rock' Moved To Midseason Due To Tina Fey's Pregnancy

BABY BUMPED: '30 Rock' Pushed Back Due To Tina Fey's Pregnancy

Amidst the flurry of announcements about its new schedule, NBC revealed that "30 Rock" has been pushed back to the midseason. Fear not, though, "30 Rock" fans--this isn't any kind of punishment being meted out. It's due to the fact that star and showrunner TIna Fey is pregnant and needs to spend time with her new baby, as NBC chief Robert Greenblatt told the Associated Press.

"30 Rock" had aired at 10 PM on Thursdays; that slot will now be taken up by NBC's remake of famed British crime show "Prime Suspect." And it's not the only big NBC show being held for January; the network is also keeping the next cycle of its new hit "The Voice" off the air until then.

Greenblatt also said that he will air NBC News' upcoming primetime show "as soon as it's ready."
