I did some old world Polish cooking today, things I learned from old Polish grandmothers in my Detroit neighborhood when I was a kid. This is so good! I have to invite people over to give it away...don't want to eat too much. Tomorrow will be Italian, things from the Italian grandmothers in the old neighborhood.

It makes me want to play Polish and Italian music, lol! ...I won't do that to you.

actually . i lived in HNL. then moved to Hawaii Kai....then back to HNL
... but we had friends that lived in Lanikai. beautiful there. i was pretty young...
...i used to take the bus to the North Shore and watch the surfers.
do u live in Hawaii?
