It seems like every week is craft beer week in Denver. But, this American Craft Beer Week, May 16-22, is an official celebration of all things craft beer and the 1,700 craft and microbreweries currently in operation around the United States. Of course, the "Napa Valley of Beer" won’t be outdone and all week long mile high city is ringing in American Craft Beer Week right with events at some our most award-winning breweries.
There are dozens of events daily, so here is our list of must-attend beer bashes:
Strange Brewing Tasting Room:Denver's newest craft brewery will be featuring their expanded tasting room with 14 taps, including the last of 151 Anniversary Ale and the return of all three of their amazing barley wines, starting Wednesday.

Breckenridge Brewery’s Ale House at Amato’s All Week Long:The Breck Ale House is featuring $1 off all American Craft Beers - they have 40 of them on tap!

Big Beer Crawl on Tuesday: RSVP for a spot on the on the big beer crawl pedal-powered bus and hit Star Bar, Euclid Hall Bar and Kitchen, Freshcraft and the Fallingrock Tap House sampling some of the best beers in the state. Event starts at Star Bar.

Bull & Bush on Wednesday: Drop by and take a pull off of The Legend of Liquid Brain Imperial Stout -- Liquid Brain was aged for 2.6 years in a 23 year old Pappy Van Winkle barrel.

Breckenridge Ballpark Pub Thursday: Be the first to taste one of Breck’s newest beers - Trademark Tripel, a Belgian version of their Trademark Pale Ale. While you are there participate in the craft beer trivia night.

Freshcraft on Friday: It’s an Avery Tap Room takeover! Avery is taking over this LoDo pub and transforming it into their taproom with 15 Avery Taps including several rare brews and Avery's classics.

Wynkoop on Saturday: The United Tastes of Belgium will be in attendance taking over Wynkoop and serving some of the best Belgian beers from Colorado and the United States with incredible chocolate and cheese pairings. Expect to see beers from Avery, Breck, Bristol, Black Fox, Great Divide, Russian River, New Belgium and of course Wynkoop.
