Anne Sinclair, Dominique Strauss-Kahn's Wife, Jumps To Husband's Defense (VIDEO)

The wife of International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has jumped to her embattled husband's defense, telling French media she had "no doubt his innocence would be proven."

According to France24, French TV personality Anne Sinclair left Paris for New York Monday to be close to her scandal hit spouse, who faces allegations of attempted rape, unlawful imprisonment, forcible touching and sexual abuse in New York. "I do not believe for a single second that accusations leveled against my husband," she said in a statement, according to ABC News.

Often compared to Larry King and Charlie Rose, the 62-year-old Sinclair is an American expat who hosted "7 sur 7," one of the most successful talk shows in French TV history. From 1984 to 1997, she reportedly interviewed countless global politicians and A-list celebrities, from former U.S. President Bill Clinton to Madonna. She also previously endured sex allegations against her husband in 2008, and is said to have laughed off one of Strauss-Kahn's rumored affairs, coyly stating that "it's important for a politician to be able to seduce," reports ABC News.

Meanwhile, the IMF head is also getting support from a less-likely source, ex-wife Brigitte Guillemette. "Violence is not part of his temperament. [Strauss-Kahn] has many faults, but not that one," Guillemette is quoted by the Telegraph as saying. "It makes no sense. It's unthinkable and impossible."

The U.S has to pay payments to the IMF and one is due according to Obama and he fly's into the US to collect and we set him up ouch that will teach other countries what we are about. This story stinks. He is in prison already without a trial c'mon. Jail awaiting trial and then prison if guilty. We put him in prison based on a maid who shouldn't have been in his room. His body gaurds I think are involved in this set up. He is naked when he exits the shower according to her and he attacks her. Maybe, he was showing with his cloths off and how odd is that (not) and she scared him when he came out of the bathroom. I would have attacked her because she shouldn't have been in my room as soon as she heard my shower going.

This man was set up! Why is he in prison and not jail awaiting trial? He is in the shower and comes out naked? of course he did he was in the shower and not exspecting a maid to be in there. Where was his bodygaurds and why did they let her in? It was in the morning so he wasn't drunk. The giant question: why are we setting him up. IMF is a great seat to hold but why would he want a maid? He can have someone pretty with the money he has. I think everyone needs to pay attention because everyone can be set up and this one man has had is life destroyed. SET-UP

Of course, the victim must be lying and the police are totally corrupt. Not likely. Why would you assume he had body guards in his room. And hotel housekeepers knock on doors, and if no one answers, they enter and call out. If no one answers, they start working. You've taken a perfectly reasonable set of circumstances and somehow twisted them into a setup. The man is innocent until proven guilty, but people are entitled to look at the situation and make a judgment, and I think most reasonable people would guess that the chances of a setup are very slim.

I am convinced DSK is innocent, and it I believe this has been set up by
politicians to torpedo his participation the French elections. Maybe with American
participation.
The way DSK was treated by the police is an offence against humanity and show
how phony the American society is. The woman ofr 32 years has a daughter of 15 and got asylum in USA. Easy to pressure to participate in such an act.
If it had been mister nobody, would the police have reacted so fast ??

Plus she had a very successful career for two decades and recently her blog has been touted as one of the most widely read. SO why exactly is she standing by this well known philanderer? Who knows? What else is she going to do? Her whole life in France is tied up with him. They have been married twenty years.

If he is guilty, then she knows about his behavior. How many poor maids has this man accosted and paid to cover up in other countries? If he is guilty, it will be an open question.
