Jennifer Granholm On Arnold Schwarzenegger Love Child News: 'Guys, Keep Ur Pants Zipped'

Former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm took to Twitter on Tuesday to offer some sharp words in response to news that former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a love child with a member of his household staff.

Here's what the Wolverine State Democrat wrote in a tweet on the matter:

After twenty-five years of marriage, Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver announced that they were separating last week. According to the Los Angeles Times, the woman with whom Schwarzenegger fathered a child worked for his family for twenty years until last January.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," said Schwarzenegger in a statement, according to the New York Times. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

Shriver released a statement on the matter on Tuesday.

"This is a painful and heartbreaking time," she said. "As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

As a woman, I admire Maria's defense and grace to her husband. However, when men and women take on the role of husband, wife, father mother, they also take on the role of PROTECTER of their family. When a man or woman seeks public office, they also must take on the responsibility of PROTECTER for public and all the people they watch over. As a husband and a father, Arnold should have placed the safety and well being of his wife and children FIRST as well as the safety of all those his position as a leader demanded. Arnold had to be aware of the housekeepers unstable and despicable attitude towards his wife. If he were not aware then he has to be the most stupid man alive and unfit for any position as leader and go back to acting. I don't care about Arnolds cheating. It is the fact that he exposed his wife and children to a dangerous and unstable individual for years, under his roof, in his household, with full knowledge, either because he was smug and stupid or because he was weak and scared. How shameful for Arnold. Cheating can be forgiven. Placing your family in the hands of a viper is the lowest one can go. Disgusted in Tennessee.

Governor that's a nice wish but it's not likely to happen. Too many women besides their wives that are willing to sleep with the married slugs. If we could get the women to muster up some self-esteem and not be the other woman, marriages may stand a chance.

As long as you have both sexes lacking self-control and self-esteem you will have infedelity.
