Blind Student Advances To National Literacy Challenge

He may have been born with a vision impairment, but Roosevelt Middle School sixth grader Alexander Traub doesn't let the disability hold him back from literature.

"He meets challenges head-on and he perseveres when he is presented with something that is challenging," said teaching assistant Mari Burda.
