LA Jail Has Only Two Inmates

Many jails are crowded facilities where the inmates fight over what TV shows to watch, argue over who sleeps where and wait in long lines to use the pay phones.

But not the North Facility of Pitchess Detention Center in Los Angeles County.

Budget cuts that have forced the County to shed inmates in droves, so now the entire facility -- which is set up to house 1,600 men -- now just holds two men, the bare minimum required to keep the facility open.
