Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie At 'Tree Of Life' LA Premiere

It was a family affair last night at the Los Angeles premiere of "Tree of Life." Though Brad and Angelina didn't bring their brood to the screening at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, it was clear that family was on both of their minds. Brad spoke with reporters about his childhood and parenting while Angelina cooed over a baby on the red carpet.

Tree of Life stars Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, and Jessica Chastain and focuses on a 1950s family and the "loss of innocence" of its eldest son. Film reviews have been mixed, with The Hollywood Reporter calling it "a unique film that will split opinions every which way," Variety declaring it to be "something extraordinary," and Entertainment Weekly saying the film is a "fascinating but confounding jumble of two works in one."

Pitt took a moment to speak about the devastation in Joplin, Missouri, which is located about 60 miles from the actor's hometown. "I spent a lot of time in Joplin. My grandparents are from there," the actor said of the tornado-stricken city, adding, "my thoughts are certainly with them."

Love Brad Pitt! I think he's underrated as an actor too. He's really talented... unfortunately he is mostly acknowledged for who he's married to and what he looks like instead of his acting.

As I get older, I recognize fewer and fewer celebrities. Now, the few I did recognize, have had so much plastic surgery, I wouldn't know 'em if I tripped over them.

She is no more skinny than most of Hollywood. You would be hard pressed to find a female celebrity who is not skinny as a rail.

But Angelina is just a gorgeous woman, simply gorgeous. And people who have seen her in person say, the camera does not do her justice, that she is more gorgeous in person.

She doesn't look 'great' 'ravishing' or any other 'amazing' reference, as I read from other commentors. Angelina is way to skinny. She is definitely having health problems or not eating. Her arms have no muscle tone and her body is straight with no curves. She used to be really healthy with amazing curves but this? I hope she gets help before any serious side effects occur.

And don't try to say its because of all the kids, they have help with them. Someone who cares for her would hopefully point it out or hopefully she is getting help.

Agreed. She's skin and bones -- a pretty head on a stick! Like an arm will snap if she picks up one of her kids. I hope she's getting help, too. Or, dear God, a sandwich.

she's always been thin, but she's definitely even more so...at least it appears that way in the photos. i've been to hollywood before (such fun, truly!) and saw stars up close and they all look like that...literally. there was not a star i came across (mainly b or c actors...from soaps mostly, which was unfortunate) that i didn't see their bones sticking out somewhere. it was really weird and disturbing. i had never seen real people that thin in person before. i was much more appreciative with my curves once i left there. i don't have any desire to be that thin.

Angelina Jolie, whose work as an actress I've always like and whose beauty is imo unique, was once a vibrant, healthy-looking young woman -- in this photo she looks more like a camp survivor, albeit one with a professional stylist. I hope she's not ill.

Jolie is too skinny! I have a friend who envies her and now has an eating disorder and looks sickly. This confirms that the dysfunctional relationship stars have to food rubs off on ordinary folks. I hope they both get a bite to eat soon and look like their lovely selves again.
