EXCLUSIVE: Tig Notaro Talks Palin, Rock Clubs & Her New Favorite Movie (VIDEO)

EXCLUSIVE: Tig Notaro Chats With Us About Music vs. Comedy

Tig Notaro has been well known among comedy fans for years, appearing on numerous television programs ("The Sarah Silverman Program," "Last Comic Standing"), her own "Comedy Central Presents" special, and frequently appearing live at L.A. comedy hotspots UCB and Largo.

But between the release of her debut album, "Good One," and her new podcast, "Professor Blastoff," which she co-hosts with David Huntsberger and Kyle Dunnigan, Notaro's carefully measured, charmingly arid wit is reaching more audiences than ever.

We sat down with Tig in the middle of a crowded Austin bar during South By Southwest, where she performed in several comedy showcases, and spoke to her about the music world vs. the comedy world, her new favorite movie, and why Sarah Palin bores her.

Watch our exclusive interview below. "Good One" will be released Aug. 2 on Secretly Canadian.
