Kate Middleton's Reiss Shola Bandage Dress Sells Out, Crashes Website (PHOTO, POLL)

And the Duchess Catherine style mania continues!

The former-Kate Middleton stepped out in a $340 beige Shola bandage dress from high-street store Reiss when she met with the President and First Lady of the United States yesterday. And when pictures of the royal rendezvous surfaced online internet, crazed fans rushed to the Reiss website, crashing it not once, but twice, the Washington Post reports. According to Reiss' Twitter, "The dress has now sold out online and in the US, with very limited stock left in UK stores." Better luck next time!

Selling out fashions has seemingly become a habit of Catherine's, as her engagement dress by Issa, engagement photo dress also by Reiss, and day-after-wedding dress by Zara all sold out in stores across England within hours of her wearing them.

Quick Poll

Would you buy Catherine's Reiss dress?

Yes! Love it.

No! Over it.

Michelle has class, Kate will need to learn how to dress to impress.

Are you kidding me! Kate could put on a sack cloth and would look far better than an expensively clad Michelle Obama nay day of the week and twice on Sundays. It's Michelle who ought to LEARN some things here. Michelle should tone down her expenditures and concentrate more on helping the nation. She would earn more of a grateful nation's respect. Of course that would mean that she disagrees with her husband's policy of spending the country down the tubes, a way of destroying and discrediting us worldwide!

Seriously? They both have class...
Why demean one to uplift the other? I don't get it.

Who advises the first lady on what she will wear? In this picture she was colorful, and the dress was not appropiate for her age. Then the next day a picture of the Queen and the first lady. The Queen wore a knee length dress, Michelle wore a floor length dress with exposed shoulders.
Please tell me I am being too critical of Michelle.

Michelle Obama looks 6 months pregnant in this dress. What a horrible dress for the First Lady to be wearing!!!

I'm a big fan of Will and Kate and she'd look great in a potato sack - but doesn't that dress look a little cheap for $340?

You may all like to know... the dress was made in a sweatshop in romania... check out the article http://askmichaelcohen.com/fashion-news/breaking-news-kate-middleton-dress-made-in-sweat-shop

Kate looks so tailored. I love Michelle but I don't get the extra fabric on the back of the jacket or the pink with the dress. I do like the arms covered.

I can't stand those "she needs to eat a hamburger" comments, but after seeing this photo I am tempted to repeat them! Kate has gone too far with her weight-loss, it would not hurt her to gain few lbs.

Vivienne Westwood did that mummy wrap better when she did neck to ankle power spandex. The color and fit of Pippa's dress certainly didn't photograph well when compared to the knockout number she wore to the wedding.

Like she cares. This girl is so fake. She's in it all for the limelight, money and status. I wouldn't doubt that she doesn't even love William.

Love both their outfits. Both very different, yet perfect for them. Funny how much skinnier Kate suddenly looks to me, standing next to Michelle's very healthy full figure. Never noticed before...

Aha, bet that's it. Girl needs to put a little meat back on her bones. She looked gorgeous, and healthy, before.

Full figure does not equate to healthy...it equates to fat.

Hate to break it to folks today, but a NORMAL range BMI equals full figured. Fat, equals fat.

Kate Middleton dresses elegantly and tastefully. Most of what she wears would flatter many women so I can understand the "fans". As for Michelle Obama - she consistently wears unflattering ensembles - yet the media raves over her fashions sense. I just don't get it...

I SO agree. This outfit of Michelle's looks like an 8-year-old dressing for church, wanting to wear her "good" dress, favorite jacket, and Mommy's brooch. I was so shocked and embarrassed when I saw the pictures of our First Lady meeting with the Queen of England for the first time -- in a skirt and sweater set barely appropriate for casual Friday at her former law firm! And the pictures of Michelle at the Grand Canyon in ratty cut-offs.....oh, my, can you imagine Jackie Kennedy dressing like that -- ever??? If Michelle wants to engage in activities which require that kind of dressing, couldn't somebody suggest she wait until she's no longer First Lady? Some jobs simply require a consistently up-scale, matching, tasteful wardrobe.

I totallly agree with you. See my comment. Who tells Michelle what to wear?

Here's hoping Kate Middleton becomes an influence on womens' fashions in the future. I have seen enough of those UNFLATTERING thick belts worn above the waist that Michelle Obama wears quite often. The media fawns and raves over every unflattering thing Michelle wears - too tight cardigans, sleeveless outfits in winter, tight tops with full skirts, etc. The only truly fashionable first lady in my opinion was Jackie Kennedy. However, I think even Laura Bush dressed more attractively than Michelle Obama! And Laura repeatedly said she had no interest in fashion.
