Mark Zuckerberg Suit And Tie Photos

Mark Zuckerberg apparently still isn't over "The Social Network."

While chatting with European leaders at the G-8 summit in France Thursday, the Facebook founder could be heard apparently discussing the movie as they walked into a conference room.

"I saw it and I liked it," German Chancellor Angela Merkel was heard by reporters saying as she walked in with Zuckerberg, who was wearing a suit-and-tie instead of his trademark hoodie and t-shirt.

She then turned to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, saying, "Did you see it? Did you like it?" Sarkozy appeared to nod, according the White House pool report.

"And did you see it?" she asked Zuckerberg.

"I didn't like it," he said smiling as the others laughed.

"Well, you don't like this one? Maybe you'll like the next one," Merkel replied.

Zuckerberg was taking part in a session on the Internet and the economy. Eric Schmidt of Google was also among the digital entrepreneurs sitting around an oval table with President Barack Obama and other G-8 leaders.

I liked the flick. It probably took quite a bit of license, but it was well constructed. I'm not surprised that Mark Zuckerberg didn't like it; I would bet Hearst didn't care for Citizen Kane either.

A great film but a bit of fiction mixed in with some truth. It wasn't a documentary.

Honestly, he SHOULD like it. Compared to what he's done in real life, he should be lying and say stealing facebook is the worst he's ever done.

Not surprised. The movie says he basically created Facebook to get revenge on a girl who dumped him for being a d*ck.

I wonder why MZ is at the G8 ?
Who invited him and why ?

The movie itself was interesting and mostly cleverly written but it was rotten and underhanded that they made it personally about Mark Zuckerberg which seemed unfair and should be illegal or something.

"Citizen Kane" I can understand ... the names and story was changed, but this is just outright character assassination and mostly speculation, no matter what was true or not.

The problem with a movie is just - look at the movies that are supposed to tell a true story, and then investigate what that story was ... and almost always there is barely any resemblance ... and here they even used his name.

Twenty-something and already rubbing shoulders with the G8. Phenomenal.

Maybe he doesn't like the truth staring him in the face.
07:59 PM on 05/26/2011
Then he would have no problem with 'The Social Network'.
08:11 PM on 05/26/2011
Yeah ... the problem exactly, now people think the movie is him - not very nice, and ought to be illegal ... except I wonder if they paid him a ton to do this. If the movie had been fictionalized ... it was not bad. There were some good moments, especially the very beginning conversation, that was very clever.

Merkel sounds like she talks too much, and not to the amusement of others.

Look at the photo of him at top of article. Okay, what do you see 'in' his face? Behind the skin? Not a physical thing, per se, but something else.

What "next one"? What is she talking about?

Really? Name an internet network or service that you use with the same frequency, fervor and passion today as you did ten years ago. I thought so.

Facebook may be done and over in 10 years but I'm sure Mark Zuckerberg would have created something else by then, he's smart.
