Kate Winslet In Black & White On Thursday: Love It Or Leave It? (PHOTOS, POLL)

We'd say Kate Winslet nailed it in Narciso Rodriguez at El Museo's annual gala on Thursday night.

The actress stepped out in a long, white number with a black-trimmed bodice and dramatic center slit. She paired the gown with strappy heels, dangling earrings and a black clutch.

IMHO, the shoes are just wrong. If wearing something that is that close to your shoes (long dress) the shoes should be same color as dress (or close)....the black is just too harsh - and that kind of sandal makes the foot look clunky (ok with short dress, but not something that elegant). I personally am not a fan of the center slit....unless you are extremely tall and thin...mostly the tall. Other than that, I liked the outfit - elegant- like the woman wearing it.

Well, Kate just gets better and better. I've liked her since Titanic. A side slit would have been a bit better for the dress, though.

She's gorgeous. I'm not about to criticize her or her dress. She's quite well known in Hollywood as a throughly nice person.
