Sarah Jessica Parker: 'I Don't Know How She Does It' Trailer Debuts (VIDEO)

Turns out, a third "Sex and the City" movie has kinda, sorta already been made.

While the future of the HBO franchise hangs in the air after a less-than-successful film sequel, star Sarah Jessica Parker is now starring in an upcoming film that seems to serve as an unofficial preview of what a third SATC movie might look like. "I Don't Know How She Does It" features Parker as a working Manhattan woman narrating the action to the audience as she moves through professional and social dilemmas. Same title, same conceit.

Here's the catch: in this film, which is based on Alison Pearson's novel, Parker's character has two kids. Given the marriage-affirming ending of the second "Sex and the City" movie, a Bradshaw brood would be the logical next step. This film has already beat them to it.

It's almost like it's a combination of Bradshaw and Parker's real life, in fact!

Co-starring Greg Kinnear as Bradshaw's stable husband, Kelsey Grammar and Pierce Brosnan as her demanding boss and client and Christina Hendricks, Seth Meyers, Olivia Munn and Busy Phillips as co-workers, the film hits theaters in September.
