Boston Globe:

The former governor has faced a fusillade from the right for the plan they call RomneyCare. But a look back at the birth of the Mass. law shows why he can't, and won't, back away. It was an amazing political feat, and no one's role was bigger than his.

The poor man's son fights the rich man's war.

Last week, with the announcement that Chrysler and GM have turned out to be sound investments by the Obama Administration, the Romney camp released a statement that the rescue was HIS idea. He and his minions seem to forget that videos are all over the place showing his objections to financial help. He even wrote an op ed saying let the auto industry go bust! I do not understand why he would make such a blatant lying statement but that does indicate his lack of honesty and his ability to say absolutely ANYTHING to garner support. What a loser!!!!

Romney is the face of the Republicans now.Their all over the place except for conservative. They have the Log Cabin Republicans and Ron Paul and his son would cut back on the military and legalize drugs and prostitution. Romney is a east coast Republican witch means liberal.

now, now...he just told the interview this morning that he sometimes uses the word damn and hell; that he is "mussed up" sometimes; that he reads vampire books as well as dubya's last book and loved it; and that obamacare is nothing like what he did, and he would abolish it immediately....well that certainly should calm the masses who are wondering about jobs, medicare and SS...as he said nothing on these items...all these "fluff" interviews are pointless - the last time they did these it got us palin

Poor Mitt is swimming against the GOP/Tea Party tide that is firmly against health care reform and they see Mitt as a candidate who might turn on them once he is in office and support not letting Americans die from the lack of care. That kind of behavior angers the "rugged individualists" that make up our billionaire population. Back in Herbert Hoover's day Mitt wouldn't even be allowed into a country club no matter how rich he is with those kind of ideas.

People should be responsible for their own health care. Not the Gov. or the Hospitals. If you cant pay to bad!

A rare find, a true anti-humanitarian who would let Americans suffer and die rather than fairly tax all, end winless wars, stop corporate welfare programs, and would rather fill our emergency rooms across the nation with patients without insurance. The irony is that the poster is probably not a multi millionaire but very likely a deluded and frustrated tea bagger who may one day have a family member, or neighbor, or close friend who needs help despite having worked hard, paid taxes and been law abiding citizen, whom the poster has to put in the "too bad" category.

you do realize that it is actually in your best interests to have universal healthcare, right? Even if you think people should pay to live, it is cheaper for YOU if they do not only visit ERs to survive. Preventative care is sooooo much cheaper than fixing it after it doesn't work. For example, nutritionists are cheaper than surgery to amputate a diabetic's feet. Also, without feet, this diabetic would now be on disability....or, you could pay maybe $100 for a visit to a nutritionist and avoid the subsequent $10000s for their ER visits and disability payments.

Even enlightened self-interest indicates that health care will make America (where you appear to live) stronger.

Greed is the only thing that doesn't.

Romney may look like the sane one in the bunch, but the Tea Party is going to knee cap him for MA health care on his watch as governor.

As a blue man living in a red state, I feel Romney's pain. Doing the right thing in Massachusetts means doing the wrong thing in South Carolina. Romney could not win a Republican primary here if he were the only one running. Give it up, Mitt. The invitations to the Tea Party have gone out and you didn't get one.

There's a picture of Romney signing a universal healthcare single payer for that state of Massechusetts. Why is denying that is was a mistake? No one didn't put the pen in his hand. There's no one stopping him.

If you had the slightest inkling about the history of the national debt you would be ashamed of your post. Let me just sum it up for you. 75% of the national debt was run up by Republicans Reagan and the 2 Bushs. Between the 3 of them they ran up 10.4 trillions while you sat around not paying a bit of attention.

You are probably on a healthcare government program right now. So I am sure your just blogging because you want to express how much you dislike Af.ri.c.an A. meric.ans. President Obama said he would track Osama bin Laden down and he got Osama bin Laden. Job Well Done Mr. President Obama. Bush didn't get him at all. Bush lied and told the entire world that he didn't care where Osama bin Laden was and told another lie that Iraq had WMD. Who's the liar now. So Bush and the GOP/Teabums are lying to you and your friends.

Obama/Biden 2012 for sure
