Mr. Rubio can join Scott Brown of Mass under the tea people bus. In order to maintain support from Tea People they must be in lockstep with any direction given by Dick Armey and the Koch brothers that fund them. Independent thought or deviation from the party line will result in them becoming road kill for the Tea People Express.

Marco, many middleclass American's who vote GOP in the south our members of that party because they feel it is the party of the White Majority, you either agree with the rest of the GOP Latino's that are anti-immigration or you can't have tea bags hanging from your hat.

Marco Rubio, Opportunist is thy name.

We saw how you sold your South Florida Soul to the Northern Republicans for the Speakership of the Florida House, by turning a blind eye while they pulled money out of Broward and Miami Dade Counties to finance conservative counties in the North.

We saw how you pretend at being a Tea Party candidate to usurp Governor Crist for the Republican nomination.

We see you now tippy toeing around the hard decisions such as immigration and Medicare Reform, positioning yourself for the party's vice presidential ticket.

The result of all of this is an empty suit, a man with pure ambition but no substance.

Get angry! 2012 the end of the Tea Party.

Why don't the Republicans force the Tea Baggers to form their own party? Cut the Baggers off from corporate money and they will disappear within a year. The tea Baggers are not tax protesters, they are tax evaders. The IRS aught to audit every one of them.

These poor, gullible Tea Partiers still haven't figured it out. Their usefulness to their candidates ended when the polls closed on election day. Before that, politicians will say anything their supporters want to hear in order to gain votes, but after that it is all about the real agenda - working as henchmen for anti-American multi-national corporations in their effort to turn America into a third world country. Around January of re-election year, the Republicans will once again start up the pro-Tea Party rhetoric, only to abandon them the day after elections again. They have done this one election after another for years and years, and their supporters are still too dumb to figure it out.

I can't believe that they claim that putting him on the ticket with the upcoming GOP candidate will guarantee a GOP victory. LOL - puhleeze just because his parents are from Cuba does not guarantee a Hispanic and/or Latino support. by the way it shows just how little the GOP knows about the difference between Puerto Rican's Mexicans and others south of our border and Cuba. They all have very different cultures and significant differences.

He's a fraud. Poor Florida. They voted for this guy and they voted for Scott. Now they're stuck with them. It's really sad.

Marco Rubio is a tool. He's bad for Florida and bad for this country. I can't tell you how many hours I spent trying to get my neighbors to vote against Rubio and Scott. If the other half of my state ever wakes up, we just might be able to make progress!

Mike Rubio knows that he is the de facto republican candidate in 2016. He knows that he needs to appear moderate to win (conservatives like to think they make up the norm, but middle right is what wins elections). Rubio is supposed to be the Hispanic Obama and there will be tremendous national pride among hispanics for the first Hispanic president. Blacks will stay home and he will win unless there is something in his history that might make him un-electable (a al Henry Sisneros).

He does have a shot at 2016, but between now and then he'll be subjected to some sort of conservative loyalty test, and he'll offend most hispanics.

His only hope in 2016 is if he becomes an independent, now. That gives him the opportunity to stay out of the 2012 fray and rid himself of tea party associations over 4 years before making a run.
A republican minority candidate can't win, the same way a republican female candidate can't win, because too many of their voters think these categories of people are inferior and/or dangerous.

To many republicans Rubio's a useful idiot, nothing more, they'll never put him in the oval office.

Rubio is an Incompetant backed by Incompetants ( the Bush Family ) Jeb has dragged the state into the dregs, and wrecked eveything the late Gov Lawton Chiles had built up that was good.
