He is in Canada looking for business to come to Florida. I can hear it now. Come to Florida so that you will have to provide health care benefits to workers that your government provides to your workers now. You will have to spend more of your money and raise your prices and make less money. Also we just cut our education budget and we are #1 in mortgage fraud.
Canadian company rep: OH yes were do I sign.

But his Momma said "Rick's a good boy." I feel sorry for her. He isn't a good boy and he isn't a good governor. He was a good criminal maybe.

Good. Now the only group that isn't mad at him, the tea party, will be against him. the good thing is he's a one term Governor, the bad thing is at the rate he's going he'll have bankrupted Florida by the time he's done.

Hypocrisy is one of the defining characteristics of a 'good' Regressive, and guvscot personifies that as much as walker, krazitch, christie, snyder and the rest.

Studies show that the conservative brain doesn't do nuance well which is necessary for introspection. They also show a strong ability to rationalize past and present behaviors in the presence of imminent reward.

Don't like you're federal stimulus money, Governor Scott? To quote the best president we've ever had (Josiah Barlett of "West Wing" fame): "Can we have it back please?"
11:16 AM on 06/01/2011
Ugh, I meant, "YOUR federal stimulus money." Darn typos!

No recall of state officials in Florida, so we are stuck with this crook for the next 3 1/2 years.

The only hope is that he irritates other Republicans (particularly those in the Legislature) enough so that the Kriseman amendment (which would allow for recall of state officials, including current ones!) can be passed during the next legislative session.

Judging by the comments of some Republican legislators, there is a dim possibility of that happening--let's keep our fingers crossed!

I may be overly optimistic, but I am thinking that it will pass and we can recall this reptile. I can have my dreams can't I? And besides, he's making enemies all over the place, regardless of party affiliations.

This latest move should have ticked off the tea baggers, so now no one but his wife is on his side. Can you believe some one married that socio_path?

From Rick Scott during the campaign-" Good teachers shouldn't worry. It's just like in business. Great employees always do fine."
The reality-
Good teachers have lost their jobs.
All teachers and supporters of education are worried.
Scott says, "Don't blame me if teachers lose their jobs."
Message to Scott- It (educating young people) is not just like a profit making business. But it may soon occur to you that having a well educated and trained workforce is crucial.
Message to those who voted for Scott- next time avoid electing people who find it necessary to plead the fifth over 75 times.

My Dad taught in Orange County for 39 years and he is so grateful he isn't teaching today. I was with my Dad waiting in a crowded doctor's office and they showed Scott on TV. A 30 something year old lady said she was glad she voted for him. My 78 year old Father let her and everyone in ear shot know just what Scott's budget and policies were going to do for public education and teachers. The lady looked like she wished she could just melt into the chair. Funniest thing I ever saw.
