WOW! What a smart person. Only (1) person to blame for all the problems of world finance. Is this a joke?

every decade, the American people get sc3wed over by the wealthy oligarchs in power with some financial scandal. Most of the time Goldman $ac$ is behind it.

what can the american people expect when goldman henchmen surround obama. it only takes a few minutes to review the resumes of those in financial power in this administration...hardly the hope and change platform he was elected on, and disappointing beyond words.

This looks a lot like the Abu Ghraib scenario. Blame some low-rung fall guys and the leadership moves on.

He and his family were probably paid a nice sum of money for him to take the fall.

An article by Matt Taibbi in "Rolling Stone" lists the lies told by top Goldman Sachs executives to congressional committees. That in itself is a crime, yet no one is even interested in prosecuting these people --- but they prosecuted the hell out of Roger Clemons for lying about steroid use!

I understand Republican foot-dragging on this. They don't want to turn on their most important constituents, the corporations and the rich. What I don't understand is how President Obama's Justice Department is sitting on its thumbs over this and a number of other issues. Is justice really dead? Do we live in a two-tier society with separate rules? C'mon, Democrats, let's speak about this. Publicly.

Yes, we live in a very unjust country where the rules for the rich are very different from the rules that govern the common citizen. The more that I try to understand our current political system the more I feel uncertain about this country's future.

of course. send out the pawn to fall on the sword. i'm sure he will do an" appropriate" amount of time in the hilton slammer, while his swiss bank account gets stuffed full by the grateful king of greed. when it's all over there will be a family reunion somewhere and a good laugh will be had by all.
