Infrared Videotaper Kevin McCracken Captures UFO Squadrons Over Oakland, California (VIDEO)

Whatever Kevin McCracken actually videotapes in the night skies above Oakland, Calif., by the true definition of the term, he's certainly capturing UFOs streaking overhead in formations.

Whether these unidentified objects in the sky are space aliens -- or, perhaps, a flock of birds -- remains to be proven.

Nevertheless, what this man has captured with his lens is extraordinary.

Using a Sony Handy Cam connected to an infrared scope, McCracken has successfully videotaped objects in triangular formations several times in the past year.

"I was alone for the recent video. My wife was in the house. From my own observations, on previous nights, I could not see these craft without the IR (infrared)," McCracken wrote on UFO Blogger.com.

McCracken's videos show conventional aircraft as well as possible orbiting satellites, shown as pinpoints of light moving in a relatively straight line in the night sky.

But the addition of his infrared scope revealed other things to McCracken's video lens on the night of May 28, 2010.

"I used the IR scope and saw three squadrons of about five each similar craft on same heading near 10:00 p.m. Friday night," he blogged.

"About five minutes later, a large triangle craft ... followed behind them. The three squadrons of small craft were traveling at least 10X speed over conventional fighter aircraft at similar altitude."

While some may quickly shout "alien visitation, head for the hills," McCracken considers a more mundane explanation for what he's captured on video.

"My thoughts are these are our craft undisclosed to the public. Man, I would love to fly one."

And others have been quick to chime in with their comments on UFO Blogger.com, including this writer:

"This is simply a flight of Canadian geese in typical V-formation, reflecting Oakland area city lights off their whitish underbellies and picked up on IR as a consequence. Nothing more, nothing less. Sorry to disappoint you."

The one you thought was a satellite was probably the space station, I have seen the exact thing flying over my house one night, it got brighter when it entered the sunlight reflecting off it when it was at the right angle, when it kept moving it exited the optimum reflection angle. I think this because after I saw it I went on the Nasa website where you can track where the space station will be at any particular time, and sure enough the path took it right over my location at the same time I saw the object.

Canadian geese? Yeah, I believe that. I've seen geese flying in formation, and I've driven under (and stopped under) a triangle ufo close enough to the ground to throw something at and hit it. These lights looked exactly like the three round lights in each corner of the ufo I saw, so I have my doubts as to whether it's three separate craft or not. I'm thrilled to get to see the video though, because I'm very interested in ufos of all types after the two I've seen up close and personal. THANK YOU for sharing your video, Mr.McCracken!

It was probably the space shuttle Endeavor and the Space Station when they were still docked together. According to the NASA website, 'On May 28th a 14-minute maneuver was performed to boost the attitude of the space station by about 3,500 feet.' The Soyuz Expedition 27 crew was also with the station around the same time before returning to Earth so it could have been anything we have up there.

If there are aliens out there piloting these UFO's, how is that "supernatural?" It wouldn't be, they would be as NATURAL as you and I, just from another world. People have been witnessing UFO's since the dawn of time, long before humans had the ability of flight. In fact I think people mistook these aliens in the past for "Gods." There is a tribe in Africa called the Dogon. They believe they were visited from beings from the Sirius star system, and the Dogon knew about the existence of Sirius B long before astronomers ever did. They have a 400 year old artifact that shows the true configuration of the Sirius star system. So how did they know so much about the Sirius star system long before anyone else did? Me and my hubby witnesses dozens of UFO's over our house last year. Once you see for yourself something that you KNOW you cannot explain by any earthly means (not supernatural, just not of this earth), then you will understand.

These flying objects that are unidentified are not unidentified flying objects [ *wink ;) ], they are merely Californians using hi-tech infrared devices to distort rather than add clarity to what would normally be passed off as migratory birds - aliens indeed, Canadians!

Good Grief folks! Okay children, this is what you are seeing. Birds are smaller than than jet aircraft and fly at a lower altitude than do jets at 35000 feet. In the video, the field of view is narrow due to magnificat­ion. Of course smaller low flying birds will appear as big and as fast as higher flying larger aircraft. This is the stuff most people realize in kindergarten.

Check out Kevin McCracken's videos from last year, taken 5/28/2010, about the same time of the year this latest video was shot. Birds flying North from their winter homes further south. In last year's videos you can see the damn wings flapping!

Birds? LOL ok. So birds can move at superfast speeds, faster than ANY aircraft that we know exists? If you look towards the beginning of this video you will see one of the UFO's fly off at incredible speeds. No BIRD could move that fast, nor could any PLANE that we know of. And birds can't just "appear" to fly faster than they usually do.

I did say the birds "appear" faster. Not that they are faster. Have you ever seen a a jet fly over trailing a contrail? Next time you do, look at it through a paper towel tube. Track it across the sky using the tube. Now, if a lower flying bird happens to fly through that limited field of view it will cross that angular distance in a flash. To track the bird using the tube you are forced to move the tube quicker and over a greater angular distance to keep the bird in sight.

The moon is revolving around the earth at 2300 mph. while the Earth is rotating at around 1000 mph. and yet the moon's movement across the sky APPEARS to be a snails pace because of it's distance from Earth.

Ok, here is what you are looking at: If you look closely at the "regular" traffic plane near the end of the clip you will notice a "reverse" triangle of lights image aberration in the lense of the plane's lighting. The three light cluster UFO you see is the same thing reflected into the lense.

The individual variable luminance source you see is the same thing probably from a helicopter, etc.

I've seen a real craft in broad daylight. It reflected a light or something in my face. Was nothing like this hoax. The craft I saw was gray metalic. Looked like it was hung there on a hook. Took off so fast I couldn't follow it with my eyes. I'd say it was doing at least 200,000 miles an hour through the atmosphere
