See Space Shuttle Endeavour Touch Down One Last Time

Space Shuttle Endeavour completed its last landing ever at 2:35 a.m. ET on June 1.

The late-night touchdown marks the end of a 16-day mission that saw the completed construction of the International Space Station and the installation of a two-billion dollar antimatter detector.

Shuttle Atlantis is already sitting on the launch pad, awaiting its July blastoff date, which will conclude NASA's shuttle missions.
