Anderson Fredrick Missed Goal Video: Striker Misses Wide-Open Shot

Step aside Miroslav Klose, there is a new winner for the worst miss of all time.

In the middle of a lower league match in Venezuela, Anderson Fredrick dashed past the defense and kicked the ball around the goalkeeper, giving him a wide-open net to shoot on. At first, it seemed as if Fredrick was going to walkt he ball into the net. But once he got four yards away, Fredrick decided to blast it. Unfortunately, the ball sailed over the crossbar as Fredrick put his hands on top of his head in disbelief. Scroll down to watch the highlight.

I hate soccer, I was a lousy player when in elementary school, but never missed that bad!! Poor kid, that "field goal" type missed goal will chase him for life!

Seen a lot of "worst misses" vids this year but this one takes the prize. It's one thing to miss an absolute sitter when on a full run or by hitting the bar, it's another entirely when there's NO REASON to wind back and try to rocket a shot in as an F U to the opposing team. A tap in would have been so much more humiliating. LOL!!!!

Classic. The ball bounces slightly up before he delivers his blast and takes off on him! Lol. Any experienced striker will know to simply side foot the shot in to the net lightly. Terrible but amusing.
