Scott Walker Recall Effort Launching

There’s a long way to go, and the goal seems like a very tough one to reach, but Wisconsin Democrats are set to go for it: They will announce at their annual convention later today that they intend to launch an effort to recall the ultimate target — Scott Walker himself.

I was on a the Susan G. Komen "Race For The Cure" today in Madison with my wife, a two year survivor. Slightly ahead of us was a trio of men wearing support T shirts honoring a victim of breast cancer. They were talking politics and referring to public workers as the "haves". What are the residency requirements to move to WI so one can vote for his recall? At the least I suppose we non-WI folks can contribute in some manner. Or is Scottie trying to outlaw that too?

What's the holdup with the gop attempt to recall the dems ? It's not due to fictitious signatures or other acts of chicanery is it ? Observers need to keep a close eye on this one. Pull the plug on the repugs!

Time for the people of Wisconsin to go to "warp" speed on Waker's recall. Every day this RyanCareLess Plan advocate is in office the more damage that can be done to the people of his state. Send a New York 26th type message and clean house.

Scott Walker was a "C" student and college dropout that could be the explanation for some of his actions. The founding fathers of this country were men of intelligence and principle.

He was also an assemblyman, re-elected 3 times, a county executive, re-elected twice, and a great governor who always shows he is a man of intelligence and principles.

A college degree is a valuable credential but it in no way guarantees proficiency in any field nor is the lack of it an indicator that a person is limited when he obviously has proven that proficiency previously in his career.

He's shown he's a man of intelligence and principles except when holding secret meetings or talking on the telephone or determining the cost of capitol repairs, or directing debate on political issues.

Principles? If he had principles he would have run on taking away collective bargaining rights, yet he never once mentioned it in his campaign.

It's all part of the demagoguery card; it is the way to insure that some elements of the working/middle class become the "tools' of their own demise.

Corporatist interests motivate SOME people by rousing and justifying hatred of their perceived "out-groups" (teachers, government workers, liberals, intellectuals, reformers, unions, Hollywood, feminists, etc).

Do you really think that if he loses power and influence to carry out the Koch brother's mission they will give him a job due to their charitable spirit? Walker is a big fish in a very small pond who if he loses his pond will just be another fish out of water.

Are there enough remorseful Walker voters and enough democrats and independents who did not vote but will surely vote in the recall of the republicans and Walker? If the three republican legislators are recalled in July, Walker will be sufficiently marginalized to limit what he can do until he himself faces recall. Walker deserves not only to be unemployed, but unemployable. He should experience first hand how it feels to look far into the future and see nothing.

Walker was elected to get wis off its tax and spend and debt addiction. Now that he is true to the people who elected him and doing the job, some people want a do-over. Just like the alcoholic who wants another councellor because the one he's got wants him to stop drinking.

The people are suffering from buyer's remorse. They didn't read the fine print, didn't ask him to elaborate, and he didn't. Failure of due diligence, but fixable. They are on their way to making it right.
