Hillary Clinton & Angela Merkel Celebrate Shared Love Of Pantsuits (PHOTOS)

Hillary Clinton and Angela Merkel celebrated their shared love of pantsuits on Tuesday as the German Chancellor attended a state luncheon with a style-themed gift in tow.

According to a pool report, Merkel gave our S.O.S. a framed copy of a front page of Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper, which showed a glimpse of the two women -- one clad in a purple jacket and black slacks, and one in a fuchsia jacket and black slacks -- alongside the text, "Which one is Merkel and which one is Clinton?"

The other side revealed the answer and brought the yuks.

Well, ah, I'm not post, pre or peri menopausal but I will say pantsuits are in!!!!!!! Not quite sure why age is an issue.

Hillary Clinton is refreshingly genuine. She has been around for a little while and it shows. It is very nice for our country to have her representation at this juncture.

GaelMc, perhaps one day you will find yourself a part of that post-menopausal secret sorority of women who understand what it takes to present oneself day after day for duty, and I mean hard duty, regardless of personal problems, hot flashes, doctor's appointments, dumb bosses, crises one after another.... where the requirement is not to be fashion symbol but do the job whatever it is...

Perhaps then you will appreciate the value of that pantsuit "uniform" that says I'm here and I'm ready, without having to be concerned with whether the skirt is too short or the necline too low. But more than that, perhaps you will appreciate the delight with which these two sorority sisters recognized each other in instant understanding.

On behalf of one of those post-menopausal women, I thank you.
(I don't wear a pantsuit, (I wear baggy old pants and a long apron to keep the clay and paint off) but if I had to be part of that kind of working world, I would definitely go for comfortable and versatile.

For those two professional women, it's an attractive and comfortable choice.

Truth is, ever since Billy Boy enjoyed his little tryst in the Oval Offce with what's her name, Hillary has worn the pants in the family. Pant suits do suit her though...I can't imagine her in a dress or skirt.
