Wild Elephants Go On Rampage In India, Kill 1 Man, Injure Others (VIDEO)

NEW DELHI (AP) — News reports say two wild elephants have killed a man and injured other people on a rampage in southern India.

New Delhi Television news channel aired footage Wednesday showing the body of a man at the feet of one of the animals in the city of Mysore in Karnataka state. An elephant also kicked a cow.

Press Trust of India later reported one pachyderm was trapped inside a farm and the other was tranquilized. It said several people were injured but no details were available.

Hundreds of people die in India annually when wild animals wander into cities as their habitats shrink and they have to range farther for food. Its parks face massive encroachment from people who live and forage in the forests or graze cattle there.

This is sort of like a last stand rampage, an act of sheer desperation, by creatures who have no choice, no voice, no invincible defense against the one Species that inflict malicious cruelty upon them, the one species that would (and is ) causing them to suffer loss of habitat down to the last pitiful acre, the loss of their sources of clean food and water, the loss of their freedom, and ultimately the loss of their own right to live. Of course they may not be articulating such ideas the way I am doing so...but their anger is real, primal, and desperate. I feel so sorry, on behalf of my fellow humans, for all the abuse and destruction that we've been heaping upon Earth and all its creatures.

Thats why india is sooo overpopulated, wild animals like the bangel tiger, gharial, mugger crocodile, asian balck bears,and indian rhino's are leaving there habitat (cus there is none) , becuase humans are destroying the indian enviroment. you have these animals coming into towns and small cities causing havok.
