Florida Police Trying To Sniff Out Two Possibly Malodorous Offenders

Police in Florida are trying to find two sticky-fingered shoplifters who swiped 75 sticks of deodorant from a grocery store.

Surveillance video taken inside a Winn-Dixie in Ft. Pierce Monday afternoon shows the fragrant offenders taking the antiperspirants off the shelf and placing them in a purse in a shopping cart. Then the possibly smelly shoplifters wheeled the cart away. They returned a short while later with another purse primed for stuffing, police said.

According to investigators, the women were able to stick it to the store by leaving without paying for their odor-controlling loot, which included hundreds of dollars worth of Gillette and Secret deodorants.

Police are asking anyone who gets a whiff of the brazen deodorant bandits to contact Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-tips.

Although this crime stinks with puns it isn't funny. The cost of theft from shoplifting costs you and me a bunch. The costs are calculated into prices for everything. Time to get these thieves off the streets and into jail for a while. I just hope Winn Dixie is up to holding them accountable and the system doesn't just smack them on the wrist.

A blonde walks into a drugstore and asks the clerk if they have any anal deoderant. Puzzled, the clerk replies that the store has never carried such a product. The blonde protests and insists that she bought a stick of it three weeks ago. The clerk goes and checks the stock, then comes back saying they don't carry anything resembling anal deoderant. He asks the blonde to come back tomorrow with whatever it was she bought. Sure enough, the next day the blonde walks into the drugstore and hands the clerk a stick of deoderant. He turns it around, examining it, and demands to know why she thought it was anal deoderant, as it is clearly marked as the underarm variety. The blonde points to a label on the dial, reading, "Push up bottom to use."

When I experienced this at a drug store I was managing, the police said they coat their hands with anti-persprant to prevent the absorption of drugs throught their pores when they are breaking it up (cocaine) usually so they do waste any as well.

Wow you learn something new every day. But if i were selling any drug i probably would splurge on latex or plastic gloves.... I mean you should have PLENTY of money. Its not worth screwing up any kind of setup you have for a mere shoplifting charge.
