Lansfield Scott, Arrested In Fountain, Colorado Under Suspicion That He Is The 'Craigslist Robber'

Ft. Carson Soldier Is ‘Craigslist Robber?’

Fountain police arrested Fort Carson soldier Lansfield Scott on suspicion that he is the "Craigslist Robber" on Wednesday. The so-called Craigslist Robber has been placing ads on Craigslist claiming a car is for sale, then robs the people at gunpoint who are often carrying cash, who come to take a look at the car.

Two armed robberies have taken place in the Fountain area recently on May 24 and May 29. The robber would advertise a mid-90s Chevrolet Caprice to lure the victims to come take a look at the car for sale for $1,200 to $1,500, according to 7News. http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/28178037/detail.html
