Bryan Cranston Talks Julia Roberts Sex Scene: 'Less Clothing Than Anthony Weiner' (VIDEO)

First Posted: 06/10/11 12:29 PM ET Updated: 08/10/11 06:12 AM ET

Here's the thing about Hollywood sex scenes: as fun and spicy as they are to watch, they're even more awkward to film. Especially when the amount of nakedness involved isn't quite equal.

Co-starring alongside Julia Roberts and writer/director Tom Hanks in the upcoming comedy, "Larry Crowne," Bryan Cranston can very much confirm the inherent discomfort of the inequitable sex scene. With Roberts starring as a depressed, alcoholic teacher, Cranston plays her porn-obsessed blogger husband, and, from the sound of it, their lovemaking was anything but that.

The reigning Emmy-winner for his anti-hero role in "Breaking Bad," spoke with ReelzChannel about one particular scene that saw him in just a skin-colored pouch -- or, as he puts it, less clothing than Anthony Weiner.

Of course, he was hired to do that, so, you know, no press conference needed.

It's a shame that Julia Robert's life is basically over. It's a bummer that a women, who was so pleasant to watch on the silver screen just a decade ago, is now doing nothing more than marching slowly towards the grave.

Why read about fake movie sex when we got real life political sex and sexting? Society is slouching toward a no holds bared reality.

Bryan Cranston should grow his hair back and look like he did as the dad on "Malcolm in the Middle".

Word to whomever said Kate Winslet would have been a much better choice for "eat Pray Love"... Julia Roberts is a terrible actress, and she does ot come across as a nice person either. Countless people who have had dealings with her here in NM paint a very unflattering picture of her.
And that laugh! Oh my, that laugh...

I am still angry with Bryan Cranston and everyone involved in Breaking Bad for ending the third season with a cliff-hanger. I mean, if it was just a good show then I would not care but Breaking Bad is the best show ever made and more addictive than meth made by a badass high school chemistry teacher.

why ? cliff hangers are not unusual. the whole show is a cliff hanger anyway. you never know what's gonna happen except that something is going to go pear shaped. i'm lucky i have any nails left.
i'm 3 episodes away from that cliff hanger so don't tell me anything.

Expect some big surprises in the last two episodes. By the way, wasn't Fly amazing? The whole episode worked so well as a self-contained story, with all the drama, twists and suspense of any good episode in this series. My favourite episode for sure. Even better than the acid bath one.

I just hateJulia Roberts. It's totally irrational I guess. I have hated her from the moment I saw her, and her constant smirking over the years hasn't done anything for that. I don't know what it is. I'm kind of a Angelina-agnostic, but I have wondered why she gets to much hatefrom commenters because of the whole marriedman thing, but Julia, who actually wore a tshirt mocking her boyfriend's wife, seems to get a free pass. I think she is just a horrible woman and that's what I've always seen in her. Love Cranston, but not enough to sit through two hours of this woman's mugging and cackling.

He's a re-gifter...

I think he re-gifted, then he de-gifted, and now he's using an upstairs invite as a springboard to go downtown during a Super Bowl sex romp.

Just saw the Label Maker episode this week and it's classic. Remember the other story line, with George dating the woman with a male roommate who looked liked him?

"Hey Scott... remember that thing we were talking about before? Well, George is *into* it!"
