Jim Carrey Brings Penguins To 'The Tonight Show' (VIDEO)

Jim Carrey's Wild Entourage Storms 'The Tonight Show'

Jim Carrey is already a handful. But teamed with a bunch of penguins?

Good luck to the production assistants on this press tour.

The funnyman and the flightless water birds appeared on "The Tonight Show" on Thursday night to promote Carrey's new big screen remake of "Mr. Popper's Penguins." In a pun-filled interview that included allusions to eating fried penguin and a condemnation of eating sushi -- you're eating Nemo! -- Carrey overwhelmed a helpless Leno with his energy.

Carrey also discussed a new passion and career of his: painting. Having done it in spurts since childhood, Carrey has opened a studio in New York, and showed the audience photos from inside his workspace, as well as some of his works in progress.
