Sarah Palin's Emails: What You Need To Know Before Reading

Many are wondering just what Sarah Palin said in the emails sent and received by the former governor being released on Friday, but there is a chance the dispatch won't produce any groundbreaking revelations.

Nevertheless, the documents could provide offer insight into many of the controversies surrounding Palin, and her time in office. However, while the vast majority of the emails are being released, there are a number that won't be disclosed to the public.

From the AP:

Another 2,275 pages are being withheld for reasons including attorney-client, work product or executive privilege; an additional 140 pages were deemed to be "non-records," or unrelated to state business.

The emails cover the first two years of Palin's time as governor. The request, filed under the Freedom of Information Act will contain 24,199 pages of files. Due to complications, they are first being released as hard copies that will be scoured for days to come.

Many organizations are putting the documents online, and giving you the power to help decipher them. Once released, you'll be able to see them for yourself here.

I already know better...there's nothing in her emails that I would want to read. The woman is definitely a bit over-exposed to my tastes...I would not go out of my way to learn anymore than I have to about her. I keep waiting for her time in the spotlight to fade, but, after a quiet spell, someone in the press, or other media, rattles her cage to get her spouting new vitriol...

Honestly, the more I read of her emails, the more Iike and respect her. I will admit that I liked her in the beginning. I like the power of seeing a woman come out to be selected as VP. I like her spunk. Don't think she could ever win a Presidential election, even as VP. She is too polarizing, like Obama. We need someone in there who is rooting for this country as a WHOLE country. We are all AMERICANS!! We need to be pulling together before another country pulls us under!!!!! USA USA USA USA

Man, conservatives are delusional if they think we are afraid of Palin, NOT...will agree that we look at everything that is posted here that includes me , however I look at the post for sheer amusement of that I am always guaranteed...it would seem there is always some new way that she redefines the word moron....she is a joke as far as presidential, she is just another Trump out to grab up as much of the media spotlight as possible..an easy task as it is the media that seem to be all ga ga over her...

Uh, that is noted here. Not just in the US I mean, here at this very site. On the page going through her e-mails, it's a couple posts down. A quick Google search shows several sites noting them, and not just right wing or foreign ones.

Has anyone else noticed that as you click each document, they repeat? If you notice the FOIA numbers at the bottom right of each page, they are given sequential numbers. I thought it might have been the program HuffPo used, but the sequential numbering is correct.

I did not read the emails, I will not read the emails. I am disgusted with the obsessive, paranoid attention this woman gets. It shows me how afraid liberals really are of this one teeny, tiny person when, in your own sector of liberals there are far more interesting people to talk about, or issues to enlighten us with.

If there is anyone on the planet earth, who does not already know more about Sarah Palin than he or she needs to make an ultimate judgement on this frivolous person, I doubt the cherry-picked release of this information will form a basis for any shift in opinion.

Sarah Palin is a known commodity, liked refried beans.

As a Republican I am embarassed by this woman. As a party and as Americans if this is the best we have to offer, we're in a lot more trouble then we think. The best thing we can do is stop paying attention to her and making her seem important. Then maybe she'll go away. I'll be the first to promise not to read anything she writes, listen to anything she says, and punch in the mouth any republican that even thinks of voting for this pin head. We need real leaders on both sides of the isle, not this clown princess. Sarah please shut up and go home, please.
