Soft Shell Crab

To eat soft shell crab in Los Angeles restaurants is a wiggly battle. It might appear on a menu for a night and disappear the next. (Note: Always listen to the specials -- Mr. Soft Shell often makes his appearance here.) And while you might find 'em still moving at McCall's in Los Feliz or year-round as an off-menu po' boy at Uncle Darrow's in Marina Del Rey, the following nine restaurants are serving up the freshest whole-body crabs all summer long (well, before it runs out).
