'Glee' hearthrob Darren Criss made quite a splash Sunday night when he both appeared in the newly released Katy Perry video for 'Last Friday Night' and as a mentor on the first episode of Oxygen Network's 'The Glee Project.'
In the Perry video, Criss makes a cameo as a party guest who thinks Perry's alter ego Kathy Beth Terry is cool, despite what the other kids say. Criss' notoriously curly locks are flat ironed for the part. The clip also featured viral video sensation Rebecca Black and Criss' fellow 'Glee' cast mate Kevin McHale.
Criss also appeared on the premiere episode of 'The Glee Project' to help guide the 12 contestants vying for a 7-episode arc on 'Glee' through their very first task.
Criss is currently touring the country with the rest of his 'Glee' cast-mates as part of their live concert, but he will go solo on Wednesday, June 15th in New York City for a sold out show at Irving Plaza.
