Fred Armisen Delivers Commencement Speech At Oregon Episcopal High School (VIDEO)

WATCH: Fred Armisen's Hilarious Graduation Speech

"Saturday Night Live's" Fred Armisen may not know what an electron is, but that didn't stop him from giving an awesome speech to Oregon Episcopal High School's class of 2011 this past week. Looks like Conan O'Brien isn't the only one who knows his way around a commencement ceremony.

Armisen offered the graduating class plenty of practical advice, including:

Remember that there's no one way of doing things. You know how when you unscrew something it's 'righty tighty, lefty loosey'? If you just get a hammer and hit it really hard, whatever it is, I guarantee you it'll open.

But he didn't shy away from more esoteric insights either:

No music is better than the music that you grew up on. Try to remember all the bands' names and all the band members' names, and that's gonna help you in the future when you play trivia games.

In the end, Armisen kept the crowd laughing throughout and, hopefully, caught the ears of some future comedians who, like him, got sent to the school psychologist for writing crazy stories in class.
