If you're nostalgic for Asher Roth's days of popularity, there's a good chance you shop at Whole Foods—and so will enjoy this new mock rap video, "Whole Foods Parking Lot," from startup production team Fog And Smog:

The video is shot at Whole Foods in Santa Monica and on Lincoln Blvd. in Venice. Its (hilarious) lyrics take aim at a whole host of Whole Foods cliches. Some of the best lines:

It’s gettin real in the Whole Foods parking lots/ You know the deal with those little shopping carts they got.

Just then I saw a spot open up/My timin’s perfect—I’m creepin up./ But then this other dude try to steal it, goin the wrong way/ “Yo man, I’ve had a long day!”

I work (and shop!) at Whole Foods and I love this video!!

And, yes, you can totally spend $80 on six things, but only if you're going in there wanting to. My groceries at Whole Foods cost no more than when I was shopping at Publix or Kroger, even without my discount. Unless I get distracted by fancy chocolate.

Just go there to observe the clientele, it is a real hoot!! Anyone who would pay for a food item that can be had for 3 times less anywhere else, has got to be there for show, or either doesn't know any better (no common sense), or believes all the hype his/her "friends' spew forth!!! Granted, they do have some pretty awesome cheeses, and veggies, but come on !!!
