Father's Day Google Logo: Another Necktie For Dad (PICTURE)

Google's Necktie For Dads

In the spirit of Father's Day, Google's home page is getting dressy.

Google's giving a nod to dads with a special logo on June 19. Googlers will notice a necktie has taken the place of the letter "L" in search engine's logo.

The logo is simple and understated, much like the one posted for Mother's Day, which featured single flower. By contrast, some of Google's more recent logos have been complex and interactive, such as the pluckable guitar celebrating musician Les Paul's birthday. Google, however, seems to think that Dad doesn't need something flashy for his special day.
