Louis Farrakhan: Obama Is A 'Murderer,' An 'Assassin'

Louis Farrakhan, speaking at the American Clergy Leadership Conference on May 28, lambasted President Barack Obama over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and U.S. military intervention in Libya, calling him an “assassin” and a “murderer.”

"We voted for our brother Barack, a beautiful human being with a sweet heart,” Farrakhan said, in a video making the rounds on the internet. But he has turned into someone else, Farrakhan told the crowd. “Now he's an assassin.”

America “puts her trust in her weapons of war,” he continued. “She threatens the nations of the earth and has my brother calling for the assassination of brother Muammar Gaddafi. What has he done? I can defend that man. You don't know that man.”

“My poor brother. They said they were only going over there for humanitarian reasons -- and we believed that. You've been deceived.”

Farrakhan draws a comparison between U.S. intervention in Libya and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“You talk about a man killing his own people,” Farrakhan told the crowd. “When you lie to the American people saying that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. When you lie and then take innocent young men who come to serve their country, and send them to die in Iraq, in Afghanistan, over lies, that's a murderer in the White House."

reach Libya? Turning it into a melting pot of AFRICA revolution for regime change. Ask yourselves this: is GADDAFI a dictator or a man stuck in power to fight against western exploitation and defend his nation from western invasion? Left to me, I will say he is not a greedy man but a man who has his nation and Africa as a whole at heart. A man who refused being a puppet to the west.

Africans we should go back to this line from the redemption song by the legendary BOB MARLEY “how long shall they kill our prophets while we stand beside and look”. So I urge the LIBYANS to face their real enemy and stop fighting themselves. LIBYANS, please look for a better diplomatic way to solve your domestic affairs rather than to invite a beast of destruction for a rescue team. Will the life of GADDAFI solve the problems Libya will face in future? If so, then ask yourselves, were and what is Iraq today after the elimination of SADDAM HUSSEIN. It is true many African and Arab leaders are dictators, but still just national dictators. Not super greedy international thieves, rebels and dictators like the west hiding behind the shield of world peace and human rights, perpetrating their imperialist ideology.

Africa we need to be very careful, for the west is so wise that they are using our own brother to destroy our peace and put us under continuous inferiority in history. These in an attempt to correct the second global historic mistake they think they made, by letting us wear the world crown after regretting confirming civilization started with us. OBAMA, if not being careful he will be judged as the worst president AMERICA has ever seen, and his rein the worst world power rein. As can be seen on his stand points vis a vis the revolutions, currently going on in Africa and the Arab world.

We seek change not blood shared, but still are the west in LIBYA to protect the civilians or to war against colonel GADDAFI by destroying the cities of LIBYA . LIBYA is not the only country in this 2011 were supposed freedom fighter have loosed their lives. Many died in TUNISIA, EGYPT, COTE D’IVOIRE and many are still dieing in YEMEN, SYRIA, and BAHRAIN etc. Why is the west so focused on oil

As much as I have expressed the need to rid North Africa of the psychopath Col. Qaddafi, the methods employed by Obama, as Emperor, is simply the means to once again create chaos, so as to justify future intervention as the vehicle to return to stability. Nothing could be further from the truth. Mr. Obama, like Mr. Bush, returns to his "institutional proclivity" of creating chaos as the impetus for profits.

The tired European kingdoms are nothing without the resources of Africa. Why do you think the US created a new military command; AFRICOM? Why do you think Qaddafi was "rehabilitated" in the first place, becoming the poster-boy for Empirical schemes to re-dominate the continent; invited to all the European capitals. The murderer of American children, a new ally in the War on Terror.

Why in the 21st century does American find that it must fund a new army, when there is no money in the treasury to support further foreign adventures? Mr. Farrakhan is a long-time friend and ally of Col. Qaddafi, to be sure, but his support for Qaddafi as "King of North Africa" is misguided, and an affront to Black people who are not of the Muslim faith.

Mr. Obama's leadership of the Empire also is misguided to follow in the footsteps of the Bush genocide throughout the Middle East. Neither will the "Libyan Connection" accomplish its objective of saving the British Commonwealth and the rest of Africa's European lackeys.

I wonder whether Brother Louis thinks all the Muslims in the US military who continue to work at hunting down Taliban (Muslims) and al qaeda leaders (Muslims) are assassins. Why single out Obama? What about all those American Muslim soldiers??

first of all mr. farakan, Obama had nothing to do with Saddam. That was the former President Bush. He did that. Get it together. I do doubt that they would try and assasinate anyone after the whole mess with bin Laden.
